I have added 20 new pictures to me Rare Selena pictures album. This one in particular, though, I have noticed that Selena seems to be on crutches. It is a very strange picture. But the picture could very well be photoshoped ot such as. Take a closer look for yourself HERE .

This is the new Selena DVD cover. It is from the concert taken place in San Antonio, Texas in 1991. Pictures of this concert can be seen HERE. According to internet rumors, it will be released in November or December. But if you call down to Q-Productions now, you could get a copy and receive in in a few weeks. Go out and get one! It sounds like a very interesting dvd!

The first video is a video that I really enjoy and love watching, it has many clips of the interview she gave hours before her historic,purple jumper(from tejanoreina.com), performance at the Astrodome of Houston. Towards the end, it also has two rare clips of Selena's acceptance speech for the Premio Lo Nuestro awards in 1994, and it has a clip of Selena talking to the press right after she won her grammy in 1994, as well.

The second video is just a small clip of the Selena special on PBS. This special is a part of the series of latin music in the USA.

I recently took a trip down to California and didn't have the time to post new posts on this blog.
But as of today, I am going to try to update this blog as much as possible. As you can see, I have redecorated this whole blog, you should comment me telling me what you think of it.
I have uploaded nine new photos to the Rare Selena Photos collection, you can see them by clicking here. I also updated the photo of the week.
I also replaced the old header with a new a new one. It is a croped out picture from an oil pastel painting of Selena at the 36th annual grammy awards. Rare Selena Interview

This is Selena in a rare interview in 1994 I believe. Selena is talking about her start and how she isn't really interested in glamour of 'Fame'. It is bad quality and the video doesn't match with the audio but that just shows how rare it is! Thank You SELEVIC for this video and many other videos on Selena.

Tejano Reina, my all time favortie Selena website is in danger of closing. The reason it might close by July is because the owner has to pay $100 dollars to renew the hosting.

This is a Selena special that looks like it was aired in the late '90s on the show, OnDaMax where Selena appeared many times before her death. I like it because in the end of the first video, Alvaro Torres admits to liking Selena and he would have asked her out if he didn't have a girlfriend at the time.

This commercial was released several days after Selenas death. It was heavily rotated around the country in many tv stations. I have no clue if it was made with or without the permission of the family because it is very simple but it still has a very strong Message.

New Selena dolls are still on sale at the Q-production website. Only two of the 3 have been released. One is an outfit she wore at the 1994 TMAs singing "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom" and Donde quiera Que estes". The other is of the outfit she wore to the red carpet of Furia Musical Awards. The dolls are 12" fashion dolls with lifelike hair and is highly detailed face of Selena, they are only $19.99 wich is a great price knowing the the 1997 dolls were $30 or higher.

The Selena Mexico website, on its opening page, there are two videos of Selena of wich I had never seen before. It is of Selena singing "Baila Esta Cubia" and "Enamorada de Ti" on the same stage where she performed "No Quiero Saber" from her 1996 music video, "No Quiero Saber". go check it out, they are great videos!

This blog is for the lost star, Selena Quintanilla whom is no longer with us since March 31, 1995. At the age of 23, Selena had accomplished numerous things that some artists take years to overcome. Today, she is still remembered and will always remain with us in our hearts.

I hope you like this tribute to the queen of tejano and enjoy the pictures, videos and writings for the star.

I would hope for you to follow this blog if you like and don't forget to comment the posts and the poll at the bottom. There is not much yet but a lot more to come!
