Si Una Vez music video

This is a video I edited. When the concert CD 'Selena, LIVE: The Last Concert' was released, it became a huge hit in the U.S. and around the world as well. But there is only one thing, there was no music videos added to its release. I have always thought that 'Si Una Vez' should have been a music video for this CD. Everything in Selena's performance during this song is perfect: pitch, dance, fans, passion, etc. This is a little bit how I envisioned this music video it it had happened:

Selena's haunting voicemails for Yolanda

These are voice mails Selena had left Yolanda a couple of messages literally days if not the day before Selena was killed. Selena talks about the rape Yolanda claimed to have had happen to her in Mexico.

La Coacha makes a tribute to Selena

La Coacha is celibrity blogger and comedian. She has been featured on TMZ, MTVTres, etc. She made this video in tribute of Selena for her 38th birthday last year. Click HERE to go to La Coacha's website.

Ok, I confess that I got these new photos from Glamorous Selena, but it's such a great website. I have added it to my list of great Selena websites as number three. Historic moment caught on camera

This video appears to be of Selena exiting the Astrodome of Houston right after Selena's historic concert on February 26, 1995! Selena looks right into the camera and waves. Remember, there were more than 64,000 people that night and to get the entertainer to look at you while she is exiting is extremely rare.

Now this is the video from the Selena last concert special shown on Univision almost every year, at 1:05 seconds, Selena waves at the camera from the first video.

More information on the new Selena book

This is a segment of El Gordo y La Flaca about the new book comming out about Selena(Selena: Her Life After Death/Su Vida Despues de Su Muerte). The author gives us hints about what is in the book. I got this video from http://selena-online.com/.

Rare Selena Video

Here is rare footage of Selena in the 80's. The title of the video says she is 15 but I don't think it is possible because the song she is singing is "Girlfriend" by Pebbles, which was released in 1987(Selena would have been at least 16 when this footage was recorded).

Selena on the cover of Texas Monthly

It's that sad time of year again, we are on the brink of another year without Selena. To commemerate another year since her passing, Texas Monthly has put Selena on their magazine cover and has also issued unedited photos of Selena, Selena trademark items and a picture of the room where Selena was gunned down. The cover is quite beautiful, it mocks the idea of how many people have literally passed Selena as a saint. To read the story behind this great cover, CLICK HERE. There is a new Selena book, and it seems like a good one. The author, Cristina Castrellon, claims to have had been a close friend of Selenas'. This book talks about six messages Selena has left for her closed ones after her death. One of these messages say she has forgiven her killer, Yolanda Saldivar. These are scans from Texas Monthly, four of the pictures are from a photoshoot outside in 1992, and one of them are also from a photoshoot in 1992. They are really great and I love them each. Click HERE to see them.

La Leyenda

"Selena: La Leyenda" has been out since March 9th, so if you haven't gotten your copy, you should hurry. There are three packages to choose from. One is a single disc package with Selena's song hits. Another one is a two-disc edition, and the final one has four cds and each cd in this package is seperated by genre of music. The four disc package has 82 songs, a special edition medal and a booklet with comments by family, friends, and Selena fans. CLICK HERE to look at the track listing to these cds. I have added five new pictures to my Rare Selena Photos album. I got them from the People En Español website. A couple are from a concert (one of them is on the left), another is of Selena in front of a car, in her house and one from when she was a little girl. Click HERE to see them.

Selena was on the cover of People in Espanol on the west coast of the U.S. and for subscribers on March 3d. The issue talks about how Chris still remembers her, family memories, pictures never revealed to the public before and even how to apply make-up like Selena. That is the name of the search that is being done by Telefutura's entertainment show, Escándalo TV looking for a person that looks the most like our Selena. It is a very cool search and there is many Selena-look-alikes in it. Click HERE .
